Rainbow Honey - Fab Summer Set Review

Hey, Happy Friday everyone!
Can anyone else believe that it's already the last day of May? I feel like this month just flew by!
Today I have a gorgeous set for you from Rainbow Honey, the Fab Summer Set, this is a limited edition set exclusive to (so get it while you can!)
Lets get right to the beautiful polishes.

Tenda - A bright gorgeous green with a golden shimmer throughout. This covered perfectly in 2 coats, and as usual the formula was amazing. This is such a unique polish, and even though I'm not a huge fan of green polishes I actually liked this and it's very unique compared to the other greens I own.

Schrammi - A deep coral, almost red with a gorgeous gold shimmer throughout. Again, great consistency and it covered in 2 coats. I love this for summer, it's such a beautiful shade of coral and the gold shimmer just adds a nice pop to it.

Costa Del Sol - A clear base with gold, iridescent and holographic glitters in various shapes. I used one coat over each polish, and I loved it. My only problem was that it got a little thick, and it was hard to place the glitter nicely because it kept globbing.

I also decided I wanted to wear the whole collection today, so I decided to do a simple accent nail mani!

Overall I really like this collection, it definitely has that summer vibe to it with the bright colors.
You can purchase the Fab Summer Set HERE for $25, as well as some gorgeous other collections by Rainbow Honey.

NCLA Nail Wraps - Stephanie's Galaxy Review

Hey loves!
I have another review for you, this time its a product from NCLA which was sent to me by Nail Polish Canada.

I actually don't use nail wraps usually so this was a great chance for me to try it out.
I took a few step by step pictures for you (not many), and wrote instructions on how to use these.

Okay, so this is everything that comes in a set from NCLA. You get 2 sheets of Nail Wraps (you can only see one here, my bad), a step by step guide as well as a nail file. You also need to apply a base coat first, like always to protect your nails, and then a topcoat over top to ensure it lasts.

After you have applied a base coat you need to find the wrap closest to the size of your nail.

I don't have any more step by step pictures now, lol. I got too wrapped up in doing them that I forgot.
These nail wraps just peel off the sheet, and make sure you apply them with the round side against the cuticle. Make sure you stretch the nail wrap so it doesn't wrinkle up and gets a perfect fit! Once the nail wrap is on and flat against the nail take your nail file and file in a downwards motion to remove any excess.
Apply a topcoat to seal it all in and your done!

Here's the finished look!

I really love the look of these, and I kept them on for 2 days and had no problems. My only issue was that I did end up with a little "bubbling" on my index finger right away, even though I made sure to pull it flat. I'm sure it could have been because this was my first time and practice makes perfect!
Also, taking these off wasn't too easy.. I lost a layer or so underneath.. thank god for my base coat. I applied a nail hardener after though and they look back to normal.

NCLA Nail Wraps can be purchased HERE at Nail Polish Canada for $16 each and free shipping!

Different Dimension - Set It Free Collection

Hey lovelies!
Today I am so excited to share with you a gorgeous collection by Different Dimension, the Set It Free Collection. This collection consists of 3 beautiful polishes with color reflecting holo goodness in them!

Lets get right to the swatches!

Wide Awake - A light pink scattered holographic polish with a hint of hot pink in the right lighting. I used 3 coats to get full coverage but you could definitely layer this over another polish. The formula was really good, it covered smoothly and evenly. The first picture is in the sunlight and the second is natural lighting.

Stronger - A light blue scattered holo with hints of different colors in the right light, I could see purple & green. Again, I used 3 coats for full coverage but you can layer this one as well. I also had no problems with the formula, the dry time was fast and it was very smooth. The first picture is in the sunlight and the second is natural lighting.

Black Dahlia - A black, almost grey/purple scattered holo with hints of different colors in the right light, purple & blue, as well as micro iridescent glitters. I only needed 2 coats with this for full coverage, but I applied a third just to be safe.. and you could definitely layer this as well. I had no problems with the formula. I should have given my bottle a better shake because you can see some of the glitter just laying on the bottom. The first picture is in the sunlight and the second is natural lighting.

I really love all of these colors, but who doesn't love holo polishes? If I had to pick a favorite it would probably be Black Dahlia because of that iridescent glitter.. but all of these are just stunning!

You can purchase these polishes and many more on Different Dimensions shop page HERE, and like her on Facebook to keep up with releases and other information HERE.

3 New Candeo Colors polishes!

Hey loves!
Is anyone else excited it's Sunday? Probably not... but Arrested Development is finally back (and GOT tonight)!
Today I have 3 beautiful new polishes from Candeo Colors, and they are perfect for Spring/Summer!

Julep - A semi-sheer/jelly white base with various shades/sizes of blue glitters (including matte glitter), iridescent shimmer as well as "diamond" shimmer. I used 3 coats to get a full coverage but you could also use this as a beautiful glitter topper. I really loved this polish.. my only problem was that the formula was pretty thick.

Mahi - A shimmering aqua base packed with so much glitter, tiny blue holo glitter, gold hexes and iridescent glitters. This covered really well in 2 coats and the formula was great. I don't find a need for layering with this polish, it's so stunning and theres so much dense glitter that it's just not needed.

Springberry - A purple jelly base with a purple/pink microglitter, shimmer, matte pink and silver glitter in different sizes. I chose to layer this over a purple base, I felt as though this wouldn't cover well on it's own, but it is definitely gorgeous layered. The formula on this one was really good as well.

I really don't think I can pick a favorite polish here, this collection is so diverse and includes blue's and purples.. my favorites haha.
These polishes will be available for purchase very soon on Candeo Colors HERE, and you can like them on Facebook to keep up with releases and news HERE

For Waffles.

Hi everyone.
I am sorry for not posting the past few days, if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you already know why I had to take a break.
On Tuesday I posted that my bunny Waffles was going into surgery, and early in the afternoon we received a call saying his heart failed and he didn't make it.
I have been so heartbroken the past few days, and I had to take some time to myself to grieve. I have had people tell me I was over reacting, and it was stupid for me to be so upset.. or my favorite "It's just a bunny.. it's not like it's a dog or anything!". Well, anyone that has had a pet bunny knows how special they are, and Waffles was absolutely amazing. I'm very thankful that I had him in my life, even if it was just for a short period of time.
What better way to honor him then to do some nail art.
I did a carrot pattern all over (his favorite treat, and his favorite toy), and then an accent nail that resembles his nose/face (I loved his fluffy grey spots!).

I miss him so much, but I know he would want me to be happy.. so that's what I'm trying to do.
We gave him a nice burial, we wrapped him in his favorite towel and buried him with a few of his favorite toys and a picture of my fiance and myself.. and we can go and visit him whenever we want.
I also need to say thank you to all of the people on Facebook and Instagram who took the time to say there condolences, I appreciated every word you guys said.

RIP Waffles, your heart was too big for this world. Mommy loves you handsome. xoxox

Dots, Dots and more.. DOTS!

Hey lovelies!
I decided to do some more nail art for you all, and I went with something simple.. polka dots! I obviously couldn't resist using my favorite color, purple, but I threw in a little white too.
Colors used: Essie - Go Ginza, Color Club - Lavendarling, Color Club - Glitter Wonderland and a white.

I love how simple polka dot manicures are, yet they look so pretty! I could wear polka dot nails every day and I would be happy.

Anyone that has been following my blog for awhile knows I have an adorable bunny Waffles, as well as a kitten Finn who I only got a few months ago! Well on Saturday I decided to extend my family even bigger and I got myself another bunny! He's adorable (at least we think it's a he), he's a dwarf Holland Lop and his name is Peanut.

And here's a picture of Waffles and Finn napping on me! :)

Waffles is in surgery today (neuter), so I'm sitting here patiently waiting to go get him and hoping everything goes okay. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

Polish Addict Nail Polish - Butterfly Utopia

I have another polish to review for you all today, and this one is coming from Polish Addict Nail Polish. I have been a huge fan of Lauras polishes for awhile so I'm so happy to have the opportunity to review one of them!

Butterfly Utopia - A purple jelly base packed with silver, blue, red and purple glitter in different sizes and shapes (bar, square, diamond, hearts, and butterflies!). You can get full opacity in 3 coats, or you can layer it over a polish (I'm showing you both today). It applied well, it wasn't too thick.. I just wasn't a fan of the brush, but that tends to happen with mini bottles.
The first picture is 3 coats on its own, and the second is it layered over Essie - Go Ginza.

I wish you could see the true beauty of this polish, but clearly my camera hates jelly finishes.

You can purchase this polish and many others on Polish Addict Nail Polishes shop HERE, and follow Laura on Instagram for updates and news @polishaddictnailcolor

Fuse Nail Polish - Zombie Snot and Blurpleberry

Hey loves!
I hope you're all enjoying the long weekend, I know I have been!
Today I have 2 beautiful polishes by Fuse Nail Polish for you all. Fuse Nail Polish was created by 2 best friends who had big dreams and passion for art, and they came up with some stunning polishes.

Zombie Snot - A clear base with small black circle glitter and then some larger neon green hexes. I chose to swatch this over a grey so you could see how beautiful the glitters are, and I used 1 coat of Zombie Snot. I have to say that I love the fun name and the use of neon green glitter.

Blurpleberry - This is a blue/purple jelly base packed with sky blue and green glitters of various sizes and a lilac shimmer. I used 3 coats for this and it covered perfectly. I need to say that this is so hard to photograph, and pictures really don't do it justice.. it's so stunning in person.

I'm so impressed with both of these polishes, they're so unique and pretty.
Fuse was also nice enough to give me a coupon code for all of you, so head on over to Fuse Nail Polishes website HERE and enjoy 20% off using the code: NAILTOPIA20

Zoya Gilty Pleasures Trio

A few months ago I won a giveaway (yay) and my prize was the Zoya Gilty Pleasures Trio!
I'm so excited to have a gorgeous gold flake topcoat, I tried so hard to find one but they were always sold out.

First up is Gilty over Purity.

Gilty over Raven (which was extremely hard to photograph, I think my camera hates black polish)

I really love Gilty, it's such a beautiful gold flake topcoat, the flakes of gold are nice and big, unlike the Sephora 18K Gold Topcoat I have.

Hard Candy - Black Tie Optional

Hey lovelies!
A few weeks ago, maybe a month ago, I bought a whole bunch of Hard Candy polishes and I finally had a chance to try the one I've been dying for! I'm totally in love with black and white glitters, like most of us, so I knew I had to grab Black Tie Optional.

I swatched it over OPI - Planks A Lot.

I love this polish! I love being able to find a black and white glitter for such a low price, and even better.. finding it in stores and not just online!
If you don't have this polish you should!

Only 22 days left to enter my giveaway, and if I reach over 800 followers before then I will add a surprise second prize!

You can check out my giveaway HERE.

WingDustCollections - Summer Lovin' and Moonlight Sonata

I have posted a few different polishes from WingDustCollections, and today I have 2 more!
Lets get straight to the polishes!

Summer Lovin' - A purple base packed with blue and gold glitter in various sizes, as well as a beautiful subtle shimmer throughout. This applied perfectly in 2 coats, it wasn't too thick and I had no problem with the glitter. This is one of my favorites so far, it's such a beautiful combination of colors.

Moonlight Sonata - A black "jelly" base loaded with blue glitter in various sizes and lavender glitter. I used 2 coats over a black base, it applied nicely but I had to "scrape" in the bottle to get some of the bigger glitter to come out. I really love this combo, and I love that there's so many different shapes and sizes of glitter.

Overall I'm really pleased with these polishes, I've been happy with all of my WingDustCollections polishes!
Stephanie is such a hard worker and you can see how much love she puts into her polishes, they're so unique and creative. I also love knowing I got to meet her, and knowing that these beautiful polishes come from Toronto, Ontario!

You can purchase WingDustCollections polishes HERE on Etsy, or HERE on Llarrowe.

Glitzology - Boy Girl Party

Happy Saturday everyone! I'm so happy I have a day off with my man, we're going to get some shopping done (hopefully some polish) and just relax and enjoy the day!

I have a swatch of a gorgeous polish from Glitzology for you today. I purchased a few polishes from Glitzology several months ago (Holiday collection), and I was so pleased with them I had to grab a few more.

I love Glitzology's glitter combos, they are just stunning (and STARS!!!).

I hope you all have an amazing day! xox
