Blue Animal Print

Hey lovelies!
I hope everyone is having a nice week so far. Sadly, I think I'm getting sick... my glands have been so swollen for the past week, I'm not too impressed. At least I have Thursday - Sunday off which gives me 3 days to recover, and enjoy the sun hopefully!
I'm sure you all know how much I love animal print nail art, probably because it's so easy to do lol.

I always say I'm going to try to do different nail art and then I do the same thing again haha.
I keep saying I want to do Game Of Thrones nails but I still haven't!!!

Maybe one day I will stop being such a slacker of a nail blogger haha.

Different Dimension - Squarey Hexy and Bluebell

I recently became a huge fan of Different Dimension polish after ordering my first ones, so of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get my hands on 2 of her new shades.
Lets get right to the polish!

Squarey Hexy - A clear base with squares and hexes in different sizes and colors. There's pink, purple, green, blue, grey and silver. This is absolutely stunning! I love that the colors are more pastel compared to some of the "rainbow" glitter toppers that are out there. The formula was beautiful as well, and I applied one coat over a base.

Bluebell - A clear base with turquoise shimmer, iridescent, aqua, blue and purple matte glitter in various shapes and sizes.. as well as light purple flower glitter. This is another knockout, despite how hard it was to photograph. I'm a sucker for any glitter that's in a heart/flower shape so I really liked this, and I liked that it's such subtle glitter. Again, the formula was amazing and I used 1 coat over a base.

If you haven't purchased a polish from Different Dimension you should, the quality is absolutely amazing and they are so unique!
You can purchase these polishes and many more starting at $8.50 a bottle HERE on Etsy.

Essie - Bond With Whomever

Hey loves.
I'm sad to see that it's Sunday, which means the beginning of my work week.. and it's going to be a long one. I've enjoyed my 3 days off though, as you can tell since I've been slacking on posting lol.
Today I have a beautiful polish from Essie, I got this in a swap with my nail mail buddy Jasmine, and I just love it!
It's weird.. purple is my favorite color and yet I don't own many purple polishes, and only like 2 pastel purples.

I don't own a lot of Essie polishes either, but I love the formula/application on this. I would definitely buy more Essies if it wasn't for the $9 price tag.

Have a nice day everyone, enjoy the last day of the weekend (and the beautiful weather!)

WingDustCollections - Spring Has Sprung, and Bonfire Under The Stars

Hey loves
Last week I showed you some beautiful polishes from WingDustCollections (you can read that post HERE), today I have 2 more to show you. These 2 are gorgeous polishes from her spring/summer collection.

First up, Spring Has Sprung - A gorgeous green holo. This is such a nice green for spring, and the holo is just beautiful. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage with this and it applied beautifully.

Bonfire Under The Stars - A nude/browny base with a holo, and bigger pieces of holo glitter. I used 1 coat over a nude base because I didn't want to waste the polish applying a million coats. This is a very pretty polish! Sadly, when I put my topcoat on I had a little smudging almost on my ring finger.

You can purchase WingDustCollections polishes HERE on Etsy, or HERE on Llarowe. You can also keep up with her on Instagram - @wingdust or like her on Facebook.

Hard Candy - Sweet Tooth

Hey lovelies!
Today I have a beautiful polish by Hard Candy. I'm so happy we can finally buy these in Canada, I think I have like 10-15 of these so far lol.

This polish is a dupe for Nails Inc - Sweets Way. I'm not really sure how I feel about this though, I don't think I love it.

Julep Maven April It Girl Box

Hey loves
I keep forgetting to post swatches of these, and they are gorgeous and deserve to be posted!
I opt out a lot of Juleps boxes but I couldn't pass up the opportunity for these gorgeous neon colors. I also managed to grab some add ons (but they still haven't arrived!!).

Abbie - A bright vibrant yellow. This applied beautifully and it's such a nice shade of yellow (and I don't like yellows usually). This is perfect for summer.

Mackenzie - A bright neon green with subtle shimmer throughout. This one didn't apply so great, it was pretty thick and "goopy". I still like it though.

Eden - A bright deep purple. This polish has a vibrant tone to it, but it's a deeper shade of purple. I love it. It's also very hard to photograph, it's much better in person.

Overall I love this box, I'm a sucker for bright polishes and these are so great for summer!
If you aren't a Julep Maven there's a link on the side of my blog where you can sign up for a penny!

Femme Fatale Lacquer - Rainbow Cookie

Hey everyone!
I can't believe it's Sunday already, I feel like the weekend just flies by.
Recently I did a swap with a really awesome girl named Jasmine, and she gave me this gorgeous polish from Femme Fatale Lacquer. I'm so happy, it was one of my lemmings too!
I used 2 coats of Rainbow Cookie over Color Club - Nomadic In Nude.

I love it so much, it's such a pretty combo - rainbow glitters and a nude base! I'm sad that Femme Fatale doesn't ship to Canada, I will just have to find someone to send me more lol.

You can purchase this and many other gorgeous polishes HERE for $8 a bottle!

Color Club kaleidoscope Collection

I'm sure you have seen my love for Color Club, my collection is sitting at 80 bottles I think, so of course I had to get this one. I found it at Winners for $9.99, such an amazing deal.
For all of the swatches I used 2 coats and then a top coat.

Endless - A beautiful light pink cream finish. This polish isn't very original, but I don't own a lot of polishes so it's a nice addition to my collection.

Evolution - A bright sky blue cream. This is a little different then some of the blues in my Color Club collection, not as pale as Take Me To Your Chateau. I love this polish, blues are my favorite.

In Theory - A vibrant coral cream. I'm not a huge fan of corals but I think this works pretty well on me. This makes me want to wear coral more often. I find it's pretty similar to Coral Cascade though, but that could just be me.

Abyss - A blue toned green cream. This color seems to be the most original in this collection to me, I really like it. I don't really think I have anything like it in my collection.

Bright Night - A super bright and vibrant blue. This is my favorite of the collection hands down. It's so pigmented and blue and I had no staining with this either!

Pearl-spective - This is a shimmer topcoat, it's also very hard to photograph. It changes colors almost, but every time I took a picture it fell flat and looked gold. It's much prettier in person.

Overall I'm a huge fan of this collection, but I'm a fan of most of the Color Club collections lol.
You should definitely pick this up if you find it. The bright blue makes this collection totally worth it.

Krafty Gurl - Pink Palooza and It's Magic

Hey loves
Is anyone else super excited that it's Friday? I have the next 2 days off, and I have about 50+ polishes in my "to swatch bin.. here's to hoping I can get some of those done lol.
Today I have 2 beautiful polishes by Jeanine at Krafty Gurl. She sells a huge selection of polishes as well as necklaces, so definitely check her out!

First up is Pink Palooza - A clear base packed with tons of glitter - hot pink, black, and white - in various shapes. Of course I swatched this over a light pink base, but I feel like you could use so many different base colors. This applied really nice, you got such a good amount of glitter on the brush as well, I only needed 1 coat.

It's Magic - A clear base packed with glitter, blue and white stars, white, silver and blue hexes, and black shreds. This was definitely magic, I didn't even notice in the bottle that there were stars and then I applied it and was super excited. Again, this applied really well.. I had no problems with the stars, I only needed 1 coat and the stars came out of the bottle perfectly every time.

Krafty Gurl polishes sell for $6.50 a piece on her Etsy shop. You can also like Krafty Gurl on Facebook to see updates!

Daring Digits - On Wednesdays

I have been saving this polish so I could post it on a Wednesday, and I'm glad I finally remembered because I feel like I swatched this forever again.
I'm sure all of us know that "On Wednesdays" is a quote from the popular movie Mean Girls, so naturally the polish is a gorgeous shade of pink (and some amazing glitter as well).

This polish is just beautiful, I'm a sucker for anything with purple glitter or square glitter though. I am really happy with my recent buys from Daring Digits, she makes such gorgeous and unique polishes. I'm also really glad I snatched this up because I no longer see it listed on her website :(

You can purchase Daring Digits polishes HERE (She seems to be having a sale right now so definitely check it out for some amazing deals!)

Purple Water Marble

Hey lovelies!
Yes, today I will be showing you a water marble. This is something I don't do very often, because I'm awful at it, but I decided to try again. I was planning on doing my whole hand, but I kept messing up.. so I went with 2 accent fingers instead lol.

I'm not sure what the dark purple color I used was, I think it's China Glaze - Spontaneous, and the I used OPI - You're Such A Budapest, and OPI DS - Radiance.
I definitely need to practice my water marble a bit more, but I think it's okay. I'm proud that I did something I'm totally not comfortable with.

Do you still like water marble nails?

WingDustCollections - Fairy Blind and Crazy On You Review

Hey lovelies!
Today I will be showing you 2 gorgeous polishes by WingDustCollections, Stephanie was amazing and gave me a few to review. Not only that, but we actually live like 20 minutes away from each other so I got to meet her. Sadly, she was under the weather so it was only 5 minutes but it was amazing getting to meet such a talented indie polish maker, and I hope we can get together again soon.
I would also like to add how cute her wrapping was, she wrapped each individual bottle in a little bag. You could definitely see all the love she puts into her creations.

Fairy Blind - A sheer base with blue/lavender shifting shimmer, and packed with purple, lilac, periwinkle, and iridescent glitters. This polish is just stunning, I actually wore it over a few different colors so far and every time it looks so different. This applied beautifully, I had no problems with the glitter.

Crazy On You - A dark blue jelly base with blue shimmer with periwinkle and fuchsia glitter in various sizes. I actually use this over a black base because I didn't want to waste any of the beautiful polish by applying it several times, but you could get full coverage in 3 coats. This is a beautiful mix of glitter, I love the way the periwinkle glitter stands out against the dark base. It applied beautifully again, and the glitter came out nice.

One of my favorite things about WingDustCollections, and Stephanie was something she said on her etsy page description:
"I opened this show with the intention of selling crafts and artwork and nail polish to raise funds for my summer missions trip to Africa, and well... nail polish sort've took over from there"
Its really great to see people wanting to do good in the world, especially knowing they are from where I am.

You can purchase WingDustCollections HERE on Etsy, or HERE on Llarowe. You can also follow on Instagram - @wingdust or like on Facebook.

Lush Lacquer - Party Hearty

When I purchased Lush Lacquer polishes a few months ago I bought them in minis because it was my first time buying, and I regret that lol. I didn't know what to expect, but of course I love all of them. This is no exception to that, the major reason I love it so much... blue heart glitter!

Its funny that a few months ago I had maybe 5 indie polishes and now in my Helmer I have an entire drawer (which really isn't a lot if you think about it lol).
What's your favorite indie brand, or indie polish?

Floral Nail Art

Hey loves
I recently came across some nail art done by Sarah at Chalkboard Nails, and I knew I had to try it. I have to say that I absolutely love this design. It's so easy, and you can use so many different colors.

I really do love this, I always have trouble doing floral nails but this was super easy.
For this design I used: China Glaze - Lemon Fizz, Color Club - Take Me To Your Chateau, Color Club - In Theory, Color Club - Endless, China Glaze - Spontaneous, and a black polish for the dots.

I'm also slacking on posts lately, I see that I've lost quite a few followers, so I'm sorry. I've taken on more responsibility at work which has caused me to work crazy hours.
I have lots of new stuff though, some amazing nail mails, a prize from a giveaway, and maybe I will do a post about my nail polish collection?

Thanks loves!
