Easter Bunny Nails, and my bunny!

Happy Easter Sunday everyone!
I hope you're all having a nice long weekend with your family, I'm spending my day relaxing with my fiance and our pets.
I knew I had to do bunny nails for Easter, since I love bunnies so much (as you can tell because I have an adorable pet bunny).
For this I used: 365 Days Of Color - Eggcentric Bunny, OPI - You're Such A Budapest, and I can't remember the name of the white or pink polish.

I definitely need to work on my nail art skills lol, but I still love them.

Now here's some cute pictures of my little Easter Bunny Waffles.

Have a great Easter everyone! xox

365 Days Of Color - Eggcentric Bunny and Jellybean There Done That

Hey
Easter is just a few days away so I knew I had to swatch these beautiful Easter polishes from 365 Days Of Color. These 2 polishes were exclusive shades she made for her Easter Grab Bags, and they are both amazing.

Eggcentric Bunny - A milky base with packed with various colors of square glitter in different sizes. I used 2 coats over a white base, and it applied beautifully. This color is so lovely for Easter, I think I might use it in my Easter mani...?

JellybeanThere Done That - A clear base with purple square glitter, round pink glitter, round silver glitter, and shimmer throughout. I used 1 coat over a blue base, but this polish would work with so many different colors. The formula was really nice, I really like it.. probably because it has my favorite color glitters in it lol.

These were the first 365 Days Of Color polishes I've tried, and I really like them. I will definitely purchase from her again!
You can buy 365 Days Of Color polishes on her shop website - 365 Days Of Color
The polishes are $8 for fullsize, or $4.50 for minis. She also sells amazing cuticle oils, and hand creams, and there's still some Easter Grab bags left!

Different Dimension - Spencer

Hey loves
Today I have a beautiful polish from Different Dimension. This polish was inspired by a character on Pretty Little Liars, but I've never watched that show.. I bought this strictly for it's name. Spencer is the name of my fiance, so it seemed fitting to buy a polish with his name, and the polish is insanely gorgeous of course.

This is definitely one of my favorite indie polishes, not just because of the name but it's just so amazing looking.

OPI - You're Such A Budapest and Polka.com

Hey.
I never seem to buy any new OPI's or China Glaze's, I don't know why, I just never do... but I did last week. I was out shopping and I couldn't pass up getting these 2 gorgeous polishes, especially at $5 a piece!
I knew these 2 would look great together so I used them both and did a reverse glitter gradient.

I'm really impressed with both of these polishes, I love the shade of purple and the glitter is so pretty.

Prettily Inspired Polish - Swatches and Review

Hey everyone!
Today I have swatches of some gorgeous polishes from Prettily Inspired's Spring Collection, Pulverized Perennials. They are such gorgeous colors for Spring, and the names are just adorable.

*The products were provided to me for review, all opinions are my own*

First up is Grated Violets. This is a pale purple with a lavender shimmer (which is so hard to photograph). I used 2 coats to get good coverage, and the formula was great.

Pounded Pansies. A purple jelly base with holo glitter, and purple hex glitter. I used 1 coat over Grated Violets. The formula was really good.

Crushed Daisies. A creamy base with a mix of glitters. I used 1 coat over a color club polish, and I love it. I tried it over a few other colors (never photographed them). The formula was good, my only problem with it was the brush.. the brush was crooked which made it hard to apply.

Mangled Marigolds. A gold base with gold glitter. and holo. I used 2 coats over a gold polish. The formula was good again, no problems with application.

Overall I really enjoyed this collection. It has a wide variety of colors, and the glitters could be used over any color. I'm happy with the formula on these, and the only problem I really had was the brushes in some bottles (which I find happens in minis alot).

You can purchase these polishes along with the rest of the Pulverized Perennials Collection on Prettily Inspired's Etsy. They are $9.50 full size, and $5 for a mini. These are also coming from Vancouver BC, so if you're a Canadian like me I'm sure you can appreciate seeing a Canadian Indie Brand!

A change for Nailtopia..?

Hey my loves.
I have been thinking of changing my blog name for awhile now, and I would love some more input.
I will explain my reasoning first, this name was just a quick name I picked not knowing there was already a website called Nailtopia. I don't mind the name, but I wanted something unique to me.
The reason I haven't changed it is because I'm just unsure, I want to re-do my entire layout and get a new header but only if I can make a final decision on changing it or not.
So now I'm deciding between keeping it Nailtopia, or changing it to Lemon Lacquer (or something along those lines).

I would love to hear what you all have to say.

Hearts are good all year round, not just on Valentines day!

I am going to try to get more nail art for you, I just need to get real creative lol.
Thanks!

All Studded Up!

Hey my loves!
I was recently contacted by Born Pretty and they offered to let me review any 2 items I wanted (yay).
I knew I would immediately get studs (I'm obsessed with them), and I decided on some striping brushes as well.

Today I will be showing you some studs, which I got in a set with various studs for nail art.
I have wanted studs for so long, they always look so awesome, so I'm really happy I finally have some.

Here's the set I got from Born Pretty

I knew I wanted to have some blinged out nails for this, and I'm really happy with the way they turned out.

I'm so in love with the studs, and I can't wait to try the different shapes I got in the set. I only wore these for about a day, but I put so much top coat over the studs that I didn't have any problem with them.

*The colors used for this are black, Gosh Holographic, Sephora X - Chaotic.

How do you feel about studs? Love em' or hate em'?

I also have a coupon code for all of my lovely readers! You can get 10% off any order on Born Pretty by entering this code: JSJ61

Butter London - The Black Knight

Hey!
A few weeks ago I purchased my very first Butter London polish, of course it had to be The Black Knight. Sadly, I didn't realize how hard this was going to be to photograph. No matter how many pictures I take it just doesn't do it justice.. but I will still show you some!

This is way better in person, I swear. I love it so much!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who participated in my giveaway, I had so many entries and got quite a few new followers. Don't worry if you didn't win, I plan on having a few more giveaways very soon!

Illamasqua - Fragile and Speckle

Hey my lovelies!
Let me start off by apologizing for the delay in announcing the winner of my giveaway, I emailed the winners and neither of them emailed me back so I'm picking a new one.
Now onto the nail polish, I recently grabbed two polishes from the Illamasqua Speckled Collection. They are my very first Illamasqua polishes, yay!

Fragile, a beautiful light blue with various sizes of black glitter. This covered perfectly in 2 coats. This reminds me of a robins egg, and I love it!

Speckle, a light purple with various sizes of black glitter. Again, this covered in 2 coats. I liked this one as well, it seems like such a perfect shade of purple for Spring.

These polishes are available at Sephora for $17 a piece, and they are definitely worth it.

I definitely need to get my hands on more Illamasqua polishes, I loved everything about them. The quality is really great, and the brush is nice.

Hey!
I have been racking my brain trying to think of what to do for nail art, and I decided on Water color nails. They are so easy to do but always look so cute.

Different Dimension - Gumdrop

Hey my loves!
Happy Friday, and Happy March? lol.I have failed at posting because my work schedule has been all over the place and I always seem to forget to schedule posts lol.
I recently ordered my very first polishes from Different Dimension (yay), and I'm in LOVE.

This is Gumdrop, I applied 1 coat over a white base. This is a white creamy base with gorgeous glitters in teal, pink and purple in various sizes throughout. It also has a micro holo shimmer, and iridescent glitter. This applied beautifully, and I was so happy with the formula on this. I'm a huge sucker for white bases with glitter and this definitely didn't disappoint.

I will definitely be buying more polishes from Different Dimension, I bought 2 others and they are just as amazing.

You can purchase this polish and many others on Different Dimensions Shop!

Are we all excited it's finally the weekend?
I am, and I will be decked out in Emerald for an event at my work.. (Color of the year!) I will be rocking the emerald on my nails, and I will be sure to get some pictures.
Thank you for reading everyone!
