HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween!
Today I have a blood splatter mani, I have patiently been waiting till Halloween to try splatter nails again.
For this I used: Color Club - Nomadic In Nude, Sally Hanson - Cherry Red and a straw!

I love the the splatter effect, it's so easy to do and so much fun. Make sure you cover your work space because this gets really messy.

Hope you all have an amazing Halloween!

Halloween Nail Art: Bones and Jack Skelington

Hey lovelies!
Sorry for my lack of posts, I've had a busy weekend.. but I'm back!
Today I have some more Halloween nail art, this time it's some bones and Jack Skellington!
For this I used: Barielle - Going To The Chapel, and China Glaze - Liquid Leather.

I loved the bone design so much I ended up doing it as accent nails for work one day! As for the Jack Skellington finger, I used a tutorial from cutepolish.

Rainbow Honey - The Yokai Collection Review

Hey everyone!
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Rainbow Honey to review the new collection for Halloween 2012, I had to keep this a secret for so long so I'm so excited to be showing you them all today. Rainbow Honey has officially released this collection on October 13, it is very limited edition so you should run over and grab them while you can!
The colors in this collection are gorgeous, some amazing more polishes from Rainbow Honey, they are great for Halloween. The Yokai Collection has 3 limited edition shades: Kawako, Kitsune, and Oni.
*Enlarge the pictures so you can see all of the gorgeous glitter in these*

Kawako, The Mischevious River Child - This has a gorgeous blue base with tons of silver and ice blue shimmer throughout, with some blue flakes. It reminds me of a starry night! The formula was great, I used 2 coats of this for full coverage followed by a top coat.

Kitsune, The Magical White Fox - This is a nude base with tons of gold shimmer, and orange, red and holo glitter throughout. This was my favorite polish out of this collection, and I'm sure you can see why. The formula was great, it applied so smoothly, I used 2 coats for full coverage followed by a top coat.

Oni, The Malevolent Wild Demon. This has a dark browny base with TONS of different glass flecks and multi-chromatic shimmer, theres bronze, gold, red, and a gorgeous purple in there. Again, the formula was really good, I used 2 coats for full coverage followed by a top coat. The picture does not do this justice, I really wanted to show the purple flecks but it was so hard.

This Collection definitely doesn't disappoint, it's everything you could want from Rainbow Honey, and for a Halloween/Fall Collection. The Yokai Collection is now available at Rainbow Honey for $10, or $30 for all 3.
Hurry over, because this is only available for a limited time!

What do you guys think of them?

Nails Inc - Topping Lane

Hey.
A few weeks ago I decided to pick up another polish from the Nails Inc. Sprinkles Collection. They are such gorgeous polishes, I just couldn't help myself.
The formula was good, I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. It is a little bit of a pain to get off, but I think next time I will use the Elmers Glue method for it.

Clients kept on complimenting them at work, they really seem to love this collection.

I hope you're all having a great day, thanks for reading! xox

Thyme For Some Flowers

Hey everyone!
I have wanted to do floral nail art for awhile, but most of it just looked too hard to do. Finally after months of trying different designs I came up with one that is really simple.
For this I used: Sephora by OPI - Thyme For A Mani, Joe - Iris, China Glaze - Liquid Leather and Barielle - Going To The Chapel.

I love the way this turned out, I'm definitely going to try it out with different colours soon.
If you want to know how I did this I can do a tutorial for you.

Tons of Dots!

Hey.
I've been slacking with my nail art lately so I decided to do something simple today, dots!
For this I used: Color Club - I believe in amour (pink base), Color Club - Unknown Name (no name on bottle, periwinkle base), Color Club - Sugar Plum Fairy, Barielle - Going To The Chapel, Barielle - U-Concret-Me.

I'm sorry for the short nails, and all the cuts on my fingers (I've been doing stock at work, and my hands are a mess from boxes).
I really wish I knew the name of the periwinkle Color Club, I hate that they never have names on the sets here.. so annoying.
