Color Club - Lumin-Icent, and Cold Metal

I bought a set of Color Club polishes a few weeks ago, all of them were pretty random and not from the same collection (what else is new). I have only figured out a few of them so I decided to share 2 of them with you today, they are both from the Foiled collection from Fall 2011.

First up, Lumin-Icent. A VERY pale light blue foil, it's so pale that it almost looks silver (but it isn't). The formula was really good on this, it covered perfectly in 2 coats.

Cold Metal. A gorgeous bold blue foil. Again, great formula and the color pay off was amazing.. only 2 coats for perfect coverage.

I really need to get my hands on more polishes from this collection because I'm so in love with them.

I will post more of my new Color Club polishes as soon as I figure out the names of them all lol.

Cotton Candy Gradient

Hey lovelies!
I have some quick nail art that I did last week for you today. I wanted to do a gradient with pastel colors and it just so happened to look like cotton candy? haha.
For this I used: China Glaze - Sweet Hook, China Glaze - For Audrey, and Orly - Prima Gloss Silver.

Everyone at work kept telling me they reminded them of Easter, but I guess that's what happens when you use pastels!

Candy Lacquer - Peyton

I have had this polish for awhile, I got it in a swap and I just never bothered using it.
I tried it over Color Club - Nomadic in Nude first, because who doesn't love nudes and holo?

Of course I had to try it over a black as well.

I love this polish, it's simple and gives any color a nice holo. I really need to get my hands on more Candy Lacquer polishes, all of her polishes are stunning.

Pink Hole Hearted Tips

Today I have a cute and girly tip mani for you all! I haven't been feeling too inspired lately, it's probably because my head is being filled with too much Sephora info to function, so I just decided to go with something simple with a little flare.
For this I used: Barielle - Pink Fury, All That Glitters - Hole Hearted, and a silver glitter striping polish.

I love the end result, Hole Hearted is such a gorgeous polish especially over such a vibrant pink. I didn't have as many problems with Hole Hearted this time, after each nail I just turned the bottle upside down and a heart would end up on the brush for me to use lol.

Thanks for reading! xox

Swizzle Stix with Platinum Record

Hey lovelies
Are you surprised to see me posting? I'm happy I have at least something for you!!
This was a cute and simple combo I did last week, I used: Barielle - Swizzle Stix and Color Club - Platinum Record.
I apologize for the picture, it was after a day of wear and you can totally see it at my tips.

I really loved Platinum Record over this shade of blue, everyone at work kept complimenting them lol.

Today is actually my last day of training (I'm super nervous because it's a full face make-up application today.. eep), and then I move on to Brand Training which is going to be amazing. This also means my head won't be so filled with an insane amount of knowledge so I will be able to start blogging more regularly for all of you amazing followers.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you're all doing amazing!

Quick apology

Hey lovelies!
I know it's been about a week since I've made a real post, I'm so sorry. My training has been exhausting and I haven't had much time to do anything fun to my nails. :(
I'm going to try to schedule some stuff (even if it's old pictures I never showed you) just so you don't feel like I'm neglecting you all.

As for my training, it's so much fun! We went over nail care today, and next week we will be trying out nail stuff and learning how to do Sephora by OPI Gelshine (which I'm excited for). I found out I'm going to be in nails at my store (as well as some other departments) so that's pretty great for me.

Thanks for reading and being patient with me guys, you're so awesome.
Don't worry I didn't forget about my giveaway to announce, I will be doing that soon!

Finger Paints - Grape Gumball

Hey lovelies!
Today I have a polish I bought a week or so ago, I got this on clearance at Sally's for $2.
Grape Gumball. A mainly blue base (yes blue, not purple lol) loaded with shimmer. The formula was great, I only needed 2 coats for full coverage.

I really love this color, it's such a gorgeous shade of periwinkle. The shimmer is subtle, but beautiful as well. I wish I could have found more from this collection, but sadly this was the only polish they had.

I start my job at Sephora on Tuesday, I'm so excited. I'm going to be working 5 days a week and 9-10 hour shifts for my training. Sadly this means I might suck at posting for awhile, but I will try my best.
I will be updating on Instagram, so you can always follow me there: @lindsaylemon

Have a great Sunday, thanks for reading!

Stormtrooper Nails!

Hey lovelies!
Today is my fiances birthday so I had to do nails to celebrate. He is a huge Star Wars fan (as am I), and he's wanted me to do Star Wars nails for awhile but I knew it would be hard work and I didn't think I could do it. I ended up seeing a video tutorial of Stormtrooper nails by cutepolish and realized it looked pretty easy, so I tried it out.
You will probably notice that the black bled into the white, I even let the black dry for a very long time but when I added SV it happened.. so annoying.

For this I used: Barielle - Going To The Chapel and a black striping polish.

I hope you all have a lovely day, I'm going to be spending mine with the love of my life!
Please leave him some birthday love! <3

Here's a picture of Waffles, he has such a cute face!
